"Entrepreneurship in Journalism" project, DMJX, January to March, 2016
This project examines the target audience of 6-10 year olds and the possibility for reaching them with relevant news stories. How can we communicate the news to them in a fun way, which they find interesting and engaging? What news is important for our target audience, and how do we define "news" in the context of 6-10 year old? We will also examine whether the target group actually see a need for news and how they react to news stories.The secondary target group is the parents who would like their children to get informed about the world while they play games on the iPad. The concept is news packaged as entertainment and should be attractive to both children and adults.
